The Role

Ventia are looking to engage a Marine Carpenter to join our Department of Transport contract. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will see preform a rage of tasks associated with preventive maintenance and repairs on Department of Transport infrastructure such as Jetty’s, wharfs, boat ramps and maritime buildings along the coast. You will also be applying your trade skills to install, replace and repair the integrity of facilities. This is a great opportunity if you like working out in the fresh air and enjoy the afternoon sea breeze.

Whilst primarily working within the metro area, this role also has a requirement to travel to remote and rural areas of WA (all coastal) to preform work as required. We are looking for someone who is hard working, safety focused and ready for their next challenge.<...
