Job Description
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for preparing small batches of material for commercialization. Each day begins with a team meeting to establish priorities, and the role involves assisting with two primary processes: extracting enzymes from pig glands and using laboratory equipment such as column chromatography and UV spectrophotometry to scale small-batch products for commercial readiness.
Responsibilities

+ Handle raw materials, including pituitary glands and pig hearts, ensuring quality assurance release and proper storage.

+ Assist with production scheduling and verify material availability.

+ Prepare and maintain the manufacturing area, including cleaning and changeovers.

+ Execute pilot-scale and commercial processes such as extractions, mixing, and powder finishing.

+ Operate equipment, including processing tanks, temperature-controlled vessels...
