Position Overview

Shaw is hiring for a Tufting Supervisor to support the Tufting Department at Plant WD in a supervisory capacity on 2nd shift by continually monitoring the appropriate shift operations and ensuring compliance with all Company, Plant, and Departmental guidelines and procedures.


Responsibilities:

+ Act as a liaison between Department Manager and employees by providing an effective line of communication within the department. This includes assisting employees in resolving any job-related issues or concerns, and properly referring employees to Department Management or HR as needed.

+ Ensure all SMS job procedures are effective and utilized to consistently produce quality tufted goods.

+ Ensure that department machinery and equipment are well maintained, and needed repairs are executed promptly.
