A well-established engineering and defence manufacturer in Stockport is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead day-to-day production operations. You'll be responsible for your team on the shop floor, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring products are delivered safely, on time, and to budget.

What you'll be doing:

Leading manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and cost targets

Championing continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, output, and team performance

Planning and allocating resources including shift coverage and cross-functional support

Delivering daily briefings and maintaining KPI boards (SQCDP) to track performance

Monitoring production progress, resolving issues, and implementing corrective actions

Supporting staff development through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training
