Duties and Responsibilities

• assessing tasks for risks and implementing control measures
• staging materials prior to batch production
• checking Raw Material approval / shelf life status prior to use
• accurately weighing Raw Materials and Mixtures
• following standard process instructions to minimize batch variance.
• accurately completing all relevant paperwork
• feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery
• operating production line equipment, for example, a high-speed disperser
• monitoring the production process
• finishing products, for example, applying labels and packing goods ready for dispatch
• storing goods and raw materials in the yard or warehouse
• using lifting equipment and forklift trucks
• cleaning and maintaining work areas, machinery and equipment
• reporting any problems during the shift to the Lead Operators including any ma...
