Manufacturing Operative

Our client, based in Ilkeston, is looking for a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Operative to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in fabrication, cutting, welding, and measuring to join a well‑established company.

Hours & Pay

• Days: 7:00am – 3:30pm (Monday – Thursday), 7:00am – 2:30pm (Friday) – £13.88 per hour
• Afternoons: 1:30pm – 10:00pm (Monday – Thursday), 12:30pm – 8:00pm (Friday) – £15.87 per hour

During training you will be on the day shift, after which you will move onto rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating components based on technical specifications
• Cutting materials to size and specification
• Performing welding and assembly tasks
• Measuring and checking the accuracy of work
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
