Manufacturing Finisher

Due to a full order book and increased growth, my client, a leading engineering company based close to Basingstoke are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Finisher / De‑burrer on an ongoing temporary basis. This may become a permanent role after a period of time, typically 4‑6 months.

The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of engineering or manufacturing and have good hand‑work and attention to detail. The work is generally light in nature.

Duties

• Use hand tools to smooth, polish, and finish manufactured parts.
• Operate rumble machines.
• Support the CNC operations – De‑burring / Honing / Shot blasting.
• Inspect components for defects or imperfections and perform necessary corrections.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure tools are properly stored after use.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high‑quality standards.
