Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer near Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities:

+ Continuous improvement on current manufacturing processes to improve efficiency

+ Define new product manufacturing tooling and assembly line process and integrate into existing production system

+ Utilize Industrial Engineering tools for operations and layout analysis; including time studies, ergonomic assessments, and throughput improvement

+ Provide technical direction to and oversight of suppliers during design and fabrication of new tooling

+ Support installation, tryout, and debug of tooling and equipment at the assembly plant

+ Support new vehicle build events and launch at assembly plant

Requirements:

+ Bachelor Degree in Engineering is preferred

+ 3+ years of experience as a process/manufacturing engineer
