Job Overview

Morson are currently recruiting for GKN who are looking for a Manufacturing engineer initially for 6 months on a 4.5 day flexi shift paying up to £29.81. The role is fully on-site at their site in Filton.

Role Purpose

Provide Manufacturing Engineering capability to operational and development Programs to enable and deliver zero defect projects utilizing engineering and problem solving skills. Accountable for delivering robust, capable manufacturing process technology as it applies to materials, tooling, part fabrication and assembly. Highly organised and technically proficient Cutter Lifecycle Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of cutter assemblies. This role is critical to ensuring optimal tool performance, cost efficiency, and quality standards across machining operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in tooling systems, CAD/CAM software, and continuous improvement methodologies.
