JOB DESCRIPTION Department: Monozukuri Engineering Report to: Manager Functional Relationships with: Machinery R&D division in Japan & Machinery Engineering section in ASEAN factories POSITION PROFILE: Based in: Yishun The successful candidate will: Responsible for and supporting equipment-related activities, including design, installation, debugging, troubleshooting, evaluation, and reporting. Key Duties & Responsibilities : Identify and resolve equipment and process challenges at Murata's ASEAN production sites, while conducting market and technology research to support continuous improvement.
Implement and standardize best practices for production equipment and systems across the organization.
Provide support for equipment design, modification, and fabrication in control and software domains, including electrical hardware, PLC programming, and PC-based software.
