Manpower Request – Chiller Technician

Job Purpose:

To perform operation, preventive and corrective maintenance of centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, and other HVAC equipment within facilities management projects. The role involves troubleshooting, repair, and ensuring efficient system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain centrifugal chillers, pumps, valves, and cooling towers.


• Monitor and record hourly readings of chillers, pumps, and cooling towers.


• Maintain chilled water temperature and monitor VFD frequency and flow as per demand load.


• Inspect and maintain chiller oil, refrigerant levels, and vane actuator operation.


• Perform condenser descaling and monitor blowdown records.


• Maintain breakdown logs and condenser water tank levels.


• Repair and service pumps, valves, AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, etc.
