The role requires strong sourcing capabilities, vendor management expertise, ERP proficiency, and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while ensuring timely material availability. Job Responsibilities : Procurement & Sourcing Manage end-to-end procurement of mechanical commodities, including: Fabrication items (sheet metal, machined components, assemblies) Castings, forgings, fasteners, bought-out parts Identify and develop new suppliers for cost optimization and risk mitigation Execute RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, and negotiations Ensure timely release of purchase orders and adherence to delivery schedules Vendor Management Develop and maintain a robust vendor base across fabrication and mechanical categories Conduct supplier performance evaluations (quality, delivery, cost) Lead vendor audits and capabili...
