**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
Responsibility for the operational objectives of the Central Sterilization department at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, to provide management and guidance in the preparation and sterilization of instrumentation and packs, and equipment assembled and dispensed through the department. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to the sterilization quality assurance performed in the ED and L/D departments as well as other departments using hospital sterilized products. Interacts with personnel and other departments within the framework of the philosophy and policies established by Northridge Hospital Medical Center. Assumes responsibility for the interpretation and implementation of hospital policies, develops and implements all departmental policies and procedures.
