The Association of Seafood Producers is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Manager of Collective Bargaining. This is a temporary maternity leave backfill position.

The Manager of Collective Bargaining (Maternity Leave) for the Association of Seafood Producers (ASP) in Newfoundland and Labrador acts as the primary negotiator and representative for fish processing companies in the province. This role involves navigating the Fisheries Industry Collective Bargaining Act (FICBA) and the Master Collective Agreement between the Association and the Fish Food and Allied Worker-Unifor Union (FFAW) to negotiate raw material prices and conditions of sale with the FFAW, the union representing fish harvesters.
