Manager - Lead AI Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• We require significant senior backend development experience with strong Python proficiency, including async programming, concurrency, and multithreading.
• We require expertise in RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, and API lifecycle best practices.
• We require hands‑on experience with ML libraries including PyTorch, PySpark, scikit‑learn, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• We require proficiency with AI tooling such as Azure ML, Databricks, MLflow, LangChain, and LangGraph.
• We require proven experience with Git, unit testing, containerisation, and agile methodologies, including Jira and Confluence.
• We require good knowledge of generative AI, machine learning, deep learning, or NLP.
• We require strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
