Position is located: Pittsfield, ME
Work Type: PRN
Hours Per Week: As needed
Work Schedule: No Hours Assigned
Summary :
The mammographer performs screening and diagnostic mammography and bone density/ Dexa examinations, meeting all requirements of ARRT, ACR, FDA/MQSA.
Responsibilities :
+ Perform screening and diagnostic mammogram procedures
+ Perform bone density procedures
+ Review mammogram reports for the need of follow up imaging and coordinate imaging with patient and/or ordering office
+ Review daily schedules and charges for accuracy
+ Perform and document QC at required intervals to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meet MQSA/FDA and ACR requirements
+ Track and maintain appropriate data for MQSA/FDA and ACR inspections
