Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Westwind Inn (Lodging) at Travis Air Force Base, CA. Physical Effort: Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs. and over 40 lbs. with assistance. Eligible to use base facilities such as; Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center.Tuition Assistance after one year. Responsibilities Inspects and performs maintenance and minor repair on television sets, DVD/video players, refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, vacuum cleaners, and other electrical equipment and components. Makes minor electrical repairs by replacing fixtures, switches, sockets, stove burners, electrical cords, and bulbs and performs minor maintenance on furniture.
