Position Summary
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines and equipment by performing various duties as listed below


Position Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
+ Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate root causes of malfunction or other technical problem
+ Dismantles devices to gain access to and removes defective parts for repair or replacement
+ Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
+ Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements
+ Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
+ Repairs ore replaces defective parts as necessary
+ Installs special functional and structural parts in devices
