Maintenance Technician

Location: Port Elgin, ON, Canada Compensation:   $50,000 annually  Job Type: Full-Time   Schedule: Monday to Friday Job Overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing preventative building maintenance for the assigned apartment buildings while providing great customer service to tenants.

Key Responsibilities: Perform necessary maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting) in occupied units.

Complete and submit accurate maintenance log and time sheet.

Clean and repair items in vacant or turnover units, including repairs like leaky taps, faucet change and door lock change.

Regularly clean common areas, including stairwells, hallways, and elevators, and ensure all lighting, emergency signs, and fire extinguishers are functional.

Keep storage and boiler rooms clean, shovel and salt walkways, and manage garbage.

Complete monthly inspections, painting and repair tasks on time.
