Maintenance Technician

Job Scope / Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on extrusion machines and related production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns involving PLC systems, motors, heaters, sensors, and control panels
• Respond promptly to machine failures to minimize production downtime
• Conduct routine inspections and servicing to ensure optimal machine performance
• Assist in machine installation, setup, and improvement projects
• Maintain proper maintenance records and report recurring technical issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
• Coordinate with external vendors for major maintenance or repair works when required

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience (extrusion industry experience is an added advantage)
