Maintenance Technician

Reporting tothe Maintenance Supervisor, the role of a Maintenance Technician is to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment and utilities used within the precast manufacturing plants & buildings.

THE DAY TO DAY

• Perform all duties in a safe manner.
• Work with other Maintenance team members to accomplish tasks.
• Operate equipment such as overhead cranes, genie booms, forklifts, milling machine, lathe, horizonal bandsaw and other hand-powered tools.
• Troubleshoot and test equipment.
• Performing mechanical repairs on equipment.
• Execute schedule PM’s and report findings to supervisor.
• Weld and fabricate as required.
• Facilitate the start-up and installation of new equipment.
• Work is performed and documented through a CMMS program
• Work with maintenance supervisor for scheduling of down time to work on equipment or projects
