Maintenance Technician - Electrician

Reporting to the manager/supervisor, the Technician I – Electrician is responsible for performing maintenance, routine and on-demand services, including installing and repairing electrical wiring and devices related to building and hospital equipment. The incumbent will also be required to perform other general trade duties as directed. The Technician I – Electrician is also responsible for performing work in accordance with established processes and practices and for complying with internal and external requirements including, but not limited to, environmental, health and safety, fire protection.

At this position level

• Performs a variety of service work in one or more specialized building systems such as mechanical, electrical/electronic, or machine servicing, etc.
• Works from drawings, schematics, blueprints, job layouts and/or verbal instructions and operates a variety of tools and machines incidental to operations.
