Maintenance Technician

ABOUT THE JOB The primary functions include repairing, maintaining, and installing machines, tools, and equipment. Maintains buildings, grounds, and utility systems of industrial plants. Includes ability to construct and maintain production plant facilities. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES : Maintains machinery, equipment and facility. Plans and prepares preventative maintenance on production equipment. Plans and prepares preventative maintenance on facility equipment including, HVAC, dust collectors, compressors, etc. Responsible to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment. Able to operate various tools and equipment such as but not limited to cutting torch, welder, grinders, saws, etc. Responsible for maintenance and repair to pipes, plumbing, and fixtures. Able to complete some construction requirements such as carpentry, Sheetrock, and painting. Has knowledge and know how to maintain and repair electrical switches and fixtures.
