Maintenance Supervisor FP013

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees the day-to-day work of the maintenance crew.


• Primarily responsible for supervising all preventative and corrective maintenance activities on all mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment at the wastewater treatment facility and remote pumping stations.
• Partners with operations management to ensure equipment and materials are available and functioning properly.
• Provides back-up support for the Maintenance Manager on scheduling and staff management duties.
• Provides input on the purchasing of equipment and parts through the capital planning budget preparation process.
• Assigns, directs, and trains employees in the Maintenance Section.
• Sets priorities, renders technical advice, and provides supervision in the field.
• Interprets policy and resolves issues/problems (personnel, union grievances, safety, maintenance questions, etc.).
