Maintenance Operative

We are looking for a Maintenance Person to join our friendly team at Brentwood Care Centre.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Weekly audits including fire alarms, water temperatures, inspecting premises including air conditioning and recording on forms.
• Low level maintenance work to ensure that the setting is safe and well maintained.
• Keep good records of all tasks performed.

Requirements

• Relatively recent experience as a maintenance officer or caretaker.
• Multi-trader with experience in some of the following: decorating, minor plumbing, handy man duties, minor joinery, electrical PAT testing of items.
• Preferably prior experience working in a care home environment (preferred but not essential).
• Availability for occasional call outs.
• Lives reasonably locally, i.e. within a reasonable travelling distance.
