Maintenance Mechanical Fitter

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to support ongoing plant reliability at a busy workshop near Lytton. This role focuses on preventative and breakdown maintenance across fixed plant and equipment, working closely with Operations and Engineering to keep production moving.

Key responsibilities

• Preventative, routine and breakdown maintenance
• Gearboxes, bearings, pumps, motors, hydraulics & pneumatics
• Crusher rebuilds (Symons, Vickers, Pegson, Hazemag)
• Gearbox and bearing removal/refitting
• Metal fabrication and mechanical repairs
• Accurate maintenance records and job costing support

Qualifications / Experience required

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Maintenance experience in an industrial environment
• Forklift ticket 
• EWP Scissor Lift 
• Able to pass pre-employment medical & testing
