Summary This vacancy is for a WS-4749-10, Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, BASE KETCHIKAN FACILITIES ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT -F in KETCHIKAN, Alaska. Responsibilities You will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor and be responsible for managing the day to day facilities repair work at Base Ketchikan and at times other CG facilities outside the base location. The incumbent provides oversight on the locally performed repair work, and makes recommendations to the FE when repair work is of such a scale or complexity level that it will require outside services, and if directed, draft the statement of work and other related procurement documents necessary to obtain contracted services as well as ensures contracted work is executed according to requirements and industry best practices.
