Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team in Sidney, BC.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain all Company equipment and building maintenance activities;
• Manage recycle materials and liquid waste;
• Contact and direct outside contractors when necessary;
• Plan, implement, and review a preventative Maintenance Program for the company;
• Janitorial and shop clean up work as required.

Skills & Experience

• Canadian provincial or inter-provincial applicable ticket such as Millwright, Electrician, Carpenter, Plumber, Pipefitter, etc., or equivalent ticket from another country.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing operation is preferred;
• Able to safely set up and operate shop equipment;
• Ability to operate a forklift and perform carpentry work is preferred;
• Ability to work safely with limited supervision....
