Maintenance Mechanic

Overview

Role overview: Sigma is growing and is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic in the Greater Ipoh Area. The priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all servicing, replacements, repairs and troubleshooting work are performed according to the Company's maintenance program and work schedule.
• Report all abnormal findings to superior, supervisor and/or engineer for further action.
• Ensure that all work performed (servicing, parts replacement, repairs and breakdown) is accompanied by a relevant job sheet acknowledged by the respective customer.
• Attend breakdown callback assignments as soon as reasonably possible; priority to be given for 'man trap' situations.
• Perform other repair works as instructed by the Supervisor and/or Engineer.
• May be required for 24-hour breakdown callback standby duties...
