JOB TITLE:                            MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

REPORTS TO:                     FACILITY MANAGER

LOCATION:                         BRIARWOOD, NY

SALARY:                          $18 - $21 per hour

 

SUMMARY: 

The Maintenance Mechanic performs all necessary interior and exterior facility repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, window, and lock work of a 200 bed men’s homeless shelter.  Keeps facility in working order using troubleshooting techniques and performing repairs as necessary. Fills in for Custodian/Driver in his/her absence and on designated shifts.  Reports to the Lead Mechanic.  Scheduled hours of work will vary based on the needs of the facility.  Weekend and evening hours are required.
