Maintenance I

Job Summary The Maintenance I team member is responsible for supporting the physical upkeep and safety of the community by completing routine maintenance tasks, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance under the supervision of the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor. This role helps ensure a secure and well-maintained living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

General Maintenance & Repairs

• Complete work orders involving basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues and elevate complex repairs to senior staff.
• Replace light bulbs, screens, hardware, and small fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on HVAC units, water heaters, and other common systems.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating vendor work as directed.
• Use appropriate tools and follow proper safety procedures during all repairs.
