Maintenance Fitter

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out both scheduled and breakdown maintenance while ensuring all safety, environmental and quality standards are met.

Your duties will include:

• Performing routine inspections and maintenance on plant equipment
• Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting machinery issues
• Replacing worn components and undertaking repairs
• Working on conveyors, rollers, gearboxes, shredders and mobile equipment
• Conducting daily shutdown maintenance activities
• Greasing, cleaning and ensuring equipment is operating safely
• Completing safety documentation including Take 5s, TRA's and JSEA's
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Escalating maintenance concerns for prompt resolution
