Maintenance Engineer

About this opportunity

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our dedicated team at Pact Packaging Wellington. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.

This is primarily a Monday to Friday role; however, some overtime will be required to support planned maintenance, projects, and operational requirements.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on manufacturing equipment to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.
• Assist Production Managers with process optimisation, operational support, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing performance.
