Maintenance Engineer (Contract)

Hours

8:00 am – 4:00 pm (occasionally required to cover 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm)

Salary

£20–£30 per hour, PAYE + Holidays

Location

Flint area – commutable from South Wirral, Deeside, Wrexham, Chester and Holywell.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain engineering stores and parts.
• Conduct reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) work.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in production machinery such as bearings, shafts, rollers, pneumatics, check weighers, flow wrappers, metal detectors, conveyors, and cutting machinery.
• Work closely with other engineers on site to manage workloads and drive continual improvement of the PM system.
• Flexible and proactive in managing own workload.
