Maintenance Engineer

A well-established manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of 2x electrically biased Maintenance Engineers.

This is a permanent night shift position ( 8 hours- you’ll get Friday to Sunday night off every week) offering a stable working pattern, competitive salary and the opportunity to work within a fast‑paced production environment supporting a wide range of automated manufacturing equipment.

Role

• Electrical fault finding and breakdown response
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Diagnosing faults on production and packaging machinery
• Working with PLC‑controlled equipment
• Maintaining drives, motors, contactors, relays and control systems
• Supporting mechanical repairs where required
• Minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability
