Maintenance Assistant

Salary Range **$17.00 - $21.00 Hourly**

**Description**

**Position Summary:** Provides entry-level maintenance and labor support for campus facilities, grounds, and infrastructure. Assists skilled maintenance personnel with preventative maintenance, repairs, construction projects, and general campus upkeep. Performs routine maintenance tasks while developing knowledge and skills across multiple facility trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.


**Essential Job Functions:**


1. Assist skilled maintenance personnel with repairs, installations, preventative maintenance, and construction projects.
2. Transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
3. Perform site preparation and cleanup before and after maintenance projects.
4. Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout campus.
5. Replace air filters, light bulbs, and other routine maintenance items.
