The State Hospital provides high secure psychiatric care for patients from Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Our strategy is to ensure equitable provision of high quality, clinically effective services to meet the mental health and social care needs of all patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance service including ground maintenance, assisting all craft trades, and carrying out semi-skilled duties in a wide range of hospital estates services tasks.
• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota for winter maintenance between October and April.
• Work flexibly and adapt to variations of the standard working week as required by the service.
