Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Maintenance Engineer Apprentices to join our Casting Maintenance team at our plant in Exeter. The apprenticeship will involve training in both electrical and mechanical maintenance. There may also be the opportunity for supplementary welding and fabrication training.
Apprentice Duties & Responsibilities:
To learn and perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of plant services and equipment to detect and prevent problems
Assist with the installation, repair, adjustment and testing of equipment and components to ensure that systems function properly
Follow work processes and safety standards closely to ensure a safe working environment
To be committed in working towards achieving the competencies set out in the apprenticeship standards
Maintain an apprenticeship training record to be produced when required
