Maintenance and Reliability Engineer

£40 per hour (Outside IR35)
6-month contract

We’re looking for a Contract Reliability Engineer to support a fast-paced manufacturing site in Leicester. This role focuses on improving asset performance, reducing downtime, and driving maintenance best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement reliability-centred maintenance strategies
Lead root cause analysis (RCA, FMEA, 5 Whys) on equipment failures
Analyse CMMS data, downtime trends, and KPIs
Improve preventative and predictive maintenance plans
Support continuous improvement and reduce reactive maintenance
Work closely with engineering and operations teams
Requirements:

Proven experience in a reliability or maintenance engineering role
Strong CMMS knowledge (SAP, Maximo, or similar)
Experience with RCA, FMEA, and reliability tools
Background in manufacturing or industrial environments
