Insight Global is seeking a Mainframe DB2 DBA (z/OS) for a leading financial services client. This role will focus heavily on performance tuning, database security, and maintaining stability across large-scale enterprise DB2 environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with application and infrastructure teams to design, optimize, and secure database systems, while also supporting critical production operations and upgrades. This person will play a key role in ensuring high availability, recoverability, and compliance in a complex, mission-critical environment.
Day-to-Day:
 • Develop log scraping strategies to optimize CPU, memory, and storage usage
 • Build and maintain Splunk dashboards to monitor DB2 environments
 • Define and implement log retention policies
 • Translate business requirements into DB2 physical data models
 • Partner with application teams on database security (ACF2/RACF)
