Mainframe Application Developer - Medicaid MMIS

**Location:** Remote
**Duration:** 12 months

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Application Developer with strong Medicaid MMIS and healthcare claims processing experience. This role will support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of CA-MMIS applications in a modern hybrid environment integrating mainframe systems with AWS cloud services.

**Duties:**

+ Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and program logic.
+ Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
+ Implement Medicaid policies and business rules within the claims processing system.
+ Perform unit, integration, and regression testing.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
+ Implement and support z/OS Connect APIs for integration with AWS and modern platforms.
