Macular Ophthalmic Practitioner (Internal Only)

Role Summary

The post holder will autonomously interpret OCT scans and wide field imaging in virtual clinics to plan ongoing treatment regimes for patients receiving anti VEGF therapies. In addition the band 6 post holder will be timetabled to our consultant led virtual medical retinal POD Clinics.

Ophthalmic Macular Practitioner is a role for a registered health care professional, registered with a professional body as either a Nurse, Optometrist or Orthoptist. They will have specialist skills in the sub speciality of macular and further develop skills in medical retina.
