Machinist

**Job Title:** **Machinist**

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Set up and run machines (manual and CNC) to make metal parts.
+ Read blueprints and follow instructions.
+ Measure parts to make sure they meet exact specs.
+ Use tools like calipers and micrometers.
+ Do machine set-ups and choose the right tools.
+ Check quality and fix issues if needed.
+ Keep your work area clean and safe.

**Requirements:**

+ 3+ years of machining experience.
+ Able to set up and run manual machines (lathes, mills).
+ Can read blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Strong measuring and math skills.
+ Able to lift 35–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
+ Detail-oriented and reliable.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oxnard, CA.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
