Essential Functions:

·Interprets mechanical drawings and blueprints received from supervisor and/or engineering

·Operates all machines in department such as the CNC, drills, buffers/grinders, etc. without assistance

·Sets up all CNC fixtures and tooling for each specified job, except for the Hurco machine

·Create minor programs for all machines, except for the Hurco machine

·Effectively uses computerized Information Center to retrieve product/process information

·Effectively uses Smart Team Application to verify prints and revision levels

·Visually inspects material during the machining process to prevent defects and scrap

·Responsible for quality of finished product

·Provides written suggestions for continuous improvement

·Assists with training of others
