Machining Service Specialist

Mitsubishi Power Canada, Ltd. is a major supplier of steam turbines, gas turbines and generators to the energy industry in Canada. We are currently seeking a journeyperson machinist to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment
• Read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents
• Operate machining equipment including lathes, mills and grinding machines (manual and CNC)
• Use hand and power tools
• Completion of quality documentation
• General organization, housekeeping, and maintenance of the facility and equipment
• Participate in the planning of projects
• Contribute to building a positive team spirit
• Communicate effectively with coworkers at all levels
• Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of third parties
