Machinist Apprentice Job Description:
-Reading and Interpreting Drawings:-The ability to understand blueprints and specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) symbols. Operating CNC Machines:-Experience with HAAS and Mazak CNC machines (lathes, mills) and the ability to set them up and operate them to produce parts. -Measuring and Inspection:-Experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure accuracy and quality of parts. -Programming (Basic):-Experience with basic CNC programming languages like G-code, familiarity with CAD/CAM software. -Quality Control:-Understands quality standards and how to inspect parts for defects.
