Monday – Friday 6am–2pm, Temp to Perm, Competitive salary + OT, Hatfield / Welwyn Garden City.

gap technical is proud to represent a global manufacturing business searching for a Metal Assembly Worker at their facility near Hatfield / Welwyn Garden City.

Responsibilities

• Ensure polishing and trimming operations are carried out correctly.
• Operate grinding, drilling, punching and band saw machines.
• Use measuring equipment such as Vernier calipers, protractors and micrometers.
• Maintain a safe working environment and report any deviations from health & safety practices immediately.

Qualifications

• Basic self‑inspection skills.
• Health & Safety training.
• Knowledge of polishing lathes and various polishing equipment.
• Understanding of health & safety requirements for polishing and spraying machines.
