Machine Operator – Packing (Thirsk) – Permanent – Site-based

Overview

We’re recruiting a Machine Operator to join the Packing department at our manufacturing site near Thirsk. The role involves packing extruded kibble into specific bags for customers, working in one of four cells equipped with automated machines and robots that assist in the bagging, sealing, wrapping, and stacking processes.

On Offer

£15.07 per hour (including shift allowance). Annual salary £32,913. 42 hours per week (24/7), hourly pay paid monthly on the last Friday of each month.

Shift Model

The Dupont schedule follows a four‑week cycle with day (05:30–17:30) and night (17:30–05:30) shifts, often within the same week. Colleagues work three or four consecutive days followed by one to three days off, plus a seven‑day block off during the four‑week period.
