Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec.

We are currently looking for Machine Operators for rotating day/night shift for the weekend shift at our Metcalfe plant , Southern Ottawa.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates Rekers machine (dry side) ensure its good functioning.
• Operate the strapping and wrapping machines and ensure its good functioning.
• Operates all the equipment related to the machine.
• Follow quality manual. Complete quality and production reports. Look after the curing of the products to ensure a good curing of product.
• Perform set‑up changes.
• Performs operations and necessary adjustments for machine start up.
