Machine Operator

GP Wood is one of Irelands leading timber processing companies, located in two West Cork sites. The Group manufactures softwood products for the construction, fencing and pallet industries in both home and export markets. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our production facility in Lissarda Co. Cork. This role is ideal for a versatile individual who can handle core factory machinery while also supporting yard and loading operations as needed. Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Set up, monitor, and operate factory equipment in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished products efficiently. Plant Operation: Safely operate loader and track machines (e.g., front-end loaders, 360 excavators) for material movement and yard maintenance.
